macOS Installation Guide

System Requirements

• macOS 11.0 (Big Sur) or later
• Supports Intel and Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3)

Installation Methods

Method 1: App Store (Recommended)

1. Open App Store
2. Search for "AiBooster"
3. Click "Get" to download and install
4. Open from Launchpad

Method 2: DMG Package

1. Download AiBooster.dmg from official website
2. Double-click to open the DMG file
3. Drag AiBooster to Applications folder
4. Open from Launchpad or Applications folder

First Run

When opening the app for the first time, macOS may show a security prompt:

1. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security
2. Scroll down to Security section
3. Click "Open Anyway" button
4. Enter password to confirm

System Extension Installation

AiBooster requires a system extension for TUN mode:

1. First connection will prompt to install system extension
2. Click "Open System Settings"
3. In Privacy & Security → Security
4. Click "Allow" button
5. Enter password to confirm
6. Restart your computer for extension to take effect

Adding Subscription

1. Click menu bar icon to open main interface
2. Click "+" to add configuration
3. Select "Subscription Link"
4. Paste your subscription URL
5. Click "Save"

Connecting

1. Select a server from node list
2. Click connect button
3. First connection requires VPN configuration approval in system settings
4. Menu bar icon changes color when connected

Menu Bar Operations

Right-click menu bar icon to:

• Quickly switch nodes
• Enable/disable proxy
• View traffic statistics
• Open settings interface

Uninstallation

1. Quit AiBooster
2. Open Applications folder
3. Drag AiBooster to Trash
4. To clean configuration:

   rm -rf ~/Library/Application\ Support/AiBooster
   rm -rf ~/Library/Preferences/com.aibooster.*
